Looks like the weather is going to be warming up to near 40 this weekend so I hope to spend a fair amount of time on Saturday wrapping up the deck destruction. I still have 5 of the 6 chainplates and the hinges for the forward hatch to remove, but with luck that should take under an hour of grunting. I did remove one of the forward ports a while back but I think I am going to leave all the others in until I finish the recore and fairing to help keep dust out of the cabin (along with taping off the new openings I have created).
One thing I need to deal with before I seal off the cabin and shore up the deck from underneath is the holding tank... I do not remember ever emptying it out when I hauled the boat 2 years ago. It is a bladder type tank and I am VERY AFRAID of the contents of it and figure I should probably get it out of the boat and hauled far away while the contents are frozen solid. I am sure it is extremely nasty.
